A Gospeled Life: A New Lord for a New Year

The life of discipleship is a life of journeying with Jesus. As disciples we are seeking to learn how to live as if Jesus were in our place. How do we become these kinds of people today?

One of the most important starting places is to spend time dwelling in the gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John present four distinct, yet unified portraits of the life and ministry of Jesus. By spending time in these gospels the hope is that the good news of Jesus would shape our lives. The good news of Jesus is not just something we believe, but something we live. We are called to live a gospeled life.

For the next 90 days we are going to journey as a class through all four gospels. The hope is that everyone in class would spend time reading a chapter a day from each of the gospels. Then when we gather on Sunday we will spend time reflecting on what we learned about Jesus and the life of discipleship from the previous week of readings.

This week we will look at Luke 6:39-49
