There\'s a stigma associated with movies released in the first few months of a new year, also known as "dumping months." But sometimes the lack of confidence wasn\'t warranted and the movie in question ends up being a pleasant surprise.

Our first movie of this new series is Joe Dante\'s Matinee, a love letter to the era of shoestring budget monster films during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
