Old Fashioned Redux

b'My first old fashioned whiskey cocktail was "Midwest style" \\u2014 being mostly\\n7-Up and muddled fruit with Canadian Club. It seemed pretty good to me at\\nthe time. But my taste in cocktails has changed, and I\'m always looking for\\nthe best old fashioned I can find.\\nThis episode is just me making an old fashioned cocktail with Rittenhouse\\nrye in a way I\'ve come to really enjoy. It\'s probably not classic in that\\nI\'m recommending brown sugar, but the payoff is so good. I\'ve also made\\nthis with a golden rum or, when I\'m really feeling like flying in the face\\nof tradition, Plantation Pineapple Rum.\\nIt\'s all about taking your time and getting the dilution right. Give it a\\ntry.\\nRate Cocktailing on iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/cocktailing/id1084161541)\\nOff to Osaka Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)\\nLicensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License\\nhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/'
