Middle East Update

b'We received today in the mail an Middle East update by our brother Lance Lambert. We do believe most of you have heard us mention his name on many occasions. Some of us, older saints, had the privilege of being under Lance\'s teaching for many years quite a long time ago. We actually had the joy of visiting his original church in London,England this past summer while we were vacationing. We have great respect for Lance especially as it pertains to God\'s purposes for the Jewish people. He is a Jewish Christian residing in Israel now for many years. Lance sends four updates a year pertaining to the Middle East situation. The one we just received is his October update. We believe what is transpiring in the Middle East in these days is incredibly important for all the world. Surely even one with absolutely no Bible understanding at all of Bible Prophecy is aware that we are living in extremely unusual times. Has the Bible prophesied our current events? Many learned men and women who have studied Bible Prophecy for years believe it is so. To tell you the truth, we honestly hoped that more of you would be able to attend the Irvin Baxter series on "The End Times." The Lord Himself encourages us to be awake to the times in which we live and to watch and pray. These Sunday evenings have been extremely enlightening. As your Pastors we do not want to be held accountable for not alerting you as to how immensely important we believe it is these days to be AWAKE and ordering our priorities. Was Hurricane Sandy a warning as to what is to come? We do not say this to engender fear, but that we may be prepared in every way to face the days many believe are ahead for us. In that spirit we are sending along to all, Lance\'s update. Let us ask God to help us as we listen to our brother\'s words. It is even more pressing when you think this was recorded in October, weeks before the present situation we now see of war between Israel and the Palestinians. Add to that the Palestinians bid to become a member of the U.N. next week, and it becomes even more intense.Until He Comes,Your Pastors'
