b"The Universal Human Rights International (UHRI), YOUNG-Africa Inc and Magic 99.3 FM present a civic education and economic upward mobility programs Citizens Independence Initiative and Participatory democracy. Africa is rich but Africans are poor. Of the top 20 poorest countries on Earth, 17 are 'independent' countries. Nearly all 'independent' African nations are dependent on foreign aid. Most African leaders are have outstanding academic credentials from elite western universities. Even so, corruption is endemic, unemployment is widespread, economic growth is stalled and with the scarcity of equal opportunities, hopeless Africans in desperate search of opportunities are drowning in the Mediterranean Sea. We believe the solution to Africa's woes is not in foreign aid or foreign educated expats. Africa's solution is in Africa's best resource-it's peoples! Africa's best resource is not gold, diamonds and crude oil buried underground. Citizens of African nations must demand that their public servants value citizens as masters and their bosses. The best way to ensure African politicians understand this message is through citizens' platform. Before voting for any politician, Africans must first vote for the citizens' platform. The citizens who vote for public servants must understand their own powers and demand that citizens must set the salaries and benefits of public servants, consistent with the medium salaries of their constituents, adjusted for inflation. Secondly, citizens must reserve the right to make laws through ballot question, consistent with the universal declaration of human rights. That is the citizens platform for which citizens must first vote before voting for any politician's platform."
