b'Kaamaaree or the Foe of desire. Lord Shiva sees Mother Parvati and kaamdev gets his chance to shoot the arrows and Lord Shiva is affected. He describes the beauty of Parvati and wants to embrace her. But he snaps out of it and wonders how could he get deluded. He looks around and sees Kaamdev who shoots another arrow at Lord Shiva. But Lord Shiva has come back to His true nature and so he does not get affected. Instead, He burns Kaamdev with his Third Eye. Rati is sad and pleads to Lord Shiva to revive Kaamdev. Indra also explains to Lord Shiva that Kaamdev was doing this only to ensure that Tarakasura is killed. Lord Shiva then blesses Rati that Kaamdev will be there in subtle form and during Krishna Avatar he will be born as Pradyumna and she can unite with him then.

This story has many points to learn and also helps one to know about sublimation and destruction of Kaama.
