What was Lord Shiva doing so far after Sati\\u2019s immolation? Shivji loved sati
and since she left the body, he became more dispassionate. He used to
meditate or wander taking Ram naam or give upadesh to rishis etc. He felt
sorrow when Sati dropped the body. The misconception about Sati Pratha
originating from here is discussed. One day Sri Ram appeared in front of Lord Shiva. Sri Ram said to Lord Shiva that Sati is born as Parvati and she wants you as her husband. You please marry her. Drop the past.

vishwas and Jnana kills Tarakasura who is Ignorance and delusion.

Ambika is also Uma. Kenopanishad praises Brahmavidya as Uma haimavati. Lord Shiva is the giver of this Vidya, the Supreme wisdom. Umaa haimavatiti kenopanishat-prasiddhaa brahmavidyaa umaa, tasyaaha patihi padaataa.
It also means Shiva is sought through Brahma-vidya and attained.
