CTS_ep 120 All Them Frankensteins!

Published: Feb. 13, 2018, 7:04 a.m.

Episode 120 is an indirect way into “Women in Horror Month”. Your host have a look at the way Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” has been interpreted (and misinterpreted) in film over the years. Will watched four, which included “Frankenstein’s Army” (2013). Jolyon watched several, only one of which he described as “ a really wretched, sleazy, scummy, bad-looking European Frankenstein movie”. Just remember, he’s the polite one! Richard had a look at the 1957 Hammer classic “The Curse of Frankenstein”, starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. He enjoyed it, but may be about 60 years late with a sequel idea! When it comes down to it, you can re-animate all the puppies you want, but don’t marry your cousin! And Will sums it up even better- “It’s Frankenstein, what more can you say?” Find us on Instagram, where we are @chewingthescenery or easily find us on Facebook.
