Contemplative and thematically dense, like a fine meal, the film demands intimate engagement with it\'s audience in order to yield the richest results.

Beautifully shot and cut with an even hand, in spite of it\'s subject matter, the film boasts and elemental and somehow organic warmth to it that manage to buoy the experience and prevent it from feeling weighed down by it\'s more dour notes.
