b'This week\\u2019s story involves a double homicide that occurred on October 12, 2001 in Cincinnati, Ohio at 1278 Quebec Road. Frank Drees and his friend Vicki Waters were out at a bar enjoying some time together. While at the bar, an ex-boyfriend of Vicki\\u2019s confronted Frank and Vicki. There was a verbal confrontation that ended with the ex being kicked out of the bar.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the couple had asked a friend for a ride home. The friend said she would drive them home after she used the restroom. But after using the restroom, Frank and Vicki had already left. She assumed they found another ride.

Shortly after Frank and Vicki arrived at Frank\\u2019s residence on Quebec Road, they were murdered. It\\u2019s believed the killer approached them and shot Frank first. He died immediately. Vicki survived being shot, but later died in the hospital. Her family had to make the horrific decision to remove her from life support.
