About the Talents: Samantha Dutton, Ph.D., MSW, is program director for University of Phoenixâ??s Bachelor of Science in Social Work. Dr. Dutton is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience. Her professional career includes active duty social worker with the United States Air Force. In that capacity, she led multiple teams to address the mental health needs of first responders. She was deployed to a combat zone with over 2,500 military personnel as the only mental health practitioner. She worked with military chain of command to ensure psychological first aid is available for all military personnel -- whether to address domestic violence, sexual assault or combat exposure.
