Despite being the family of a minister, the Camdens only learn about prayer after the Rev gets a mystery letter from a boy whose family has been affected by gun violence. The entire family takes this as their cue to selfishly pray for the things that they've been wanting, with Matt, Mary and Simon all praying for dates. Lucy is surprisingly not terrible and the Rev finally gets told off about his meddling by the author of the letter.
