Peter Rubenacker has a fascinating background spanning 30 years of professional, growth stage experience. It includes business operations, business and technical strategy, finance and accounting, contract negotiations, procurement, globalization, process design and analysis, and information technology (IT). 
He joined Qualcomm in 1991 and held a variety of leadership positions in various functional aspects of the company, including Vice President of IT. During his tenure it grew from a small privately held, defense contracting firm to the 20,000 employee global presence it is today.
Peter is especially well-respected for his leadership skill in cultivating talent, and being a peer mentor, and team builder.  He’s a master at building rapport across talent pools. By leveraging mutual respect and fostering collaboration he builds highly focused and successful teams. 
It’s a very powerful combination.
As a result he is heavily engaged in board advisory and charitable advisory causes including the Triangle Technology Executives Council, the non-profit Counter Tools, and the startup Sea Change Technologies. 
Peter is also the Chapter Chair and a national mentor with SCORE’s Chapel Hill Chapter, the highest rated chapter for client engagement in the nation for 2015 plus he also finds time to teach at local colleges and universities, including the N.C. State University.
