Also, those events took place after Dr. Starline had already started to have doubts about working for Dr. Eggman, yet in this story he still seems to be a big fanboy. Would you say this story takes place before the events seen in the portals and ignore the contents of what was seen, or would you say this takes place after those events seen in the portals and ignore Dr. Starline’s unwavering admiration of Dr. Eggman? Or perhaps you might have a different solution altogether? But I've noticed that his shoes have these sort of "boosters" on the soles whenever he runs. So my question to you is, is Shadow as fast as Sonic because of the aid of his special shoes? Or is Shadow naturally as fast as Sonic and his shoes' functions are for a different purpose?
