This is Derek Miller Speaking on Business. Few companies can say that they’ve been in business for nearly 60 years, but the dry-cleaning company Red Hanger can. They are using their experience to offer top-of-class safety and service during COVID-19. We welcome co-owner Ryan Fish to tell us more. RYAN FISH Every business has had to step back and reevaluate its best practices during this unprecedented time. As a direct-contact customer service company this is especially true for the Red Hanger network. As a locally owned business we are concerned for the communities we serve. Limiting exposure, especially for the at-risk community is key, and we are encouraging our customers to take advantage of our free contactless home or office pickup and delivery service. We have mechanisms in place so you can leave dirty clothes out for pickup and have them delivered to your door when clean. You can even use this service for our subscription wash and fold laundry service. All of our cleaning services disinfect and sanitize textiles. In fact, we will clean up to two masks per customer for free so that everyone is as safe as possible. DEREK MILLER The Red Hanger team is always looking for ways innovate when it comes to service—whether by increasing training for managers, standardizing their service across the network, or providing solutions to help stem the spread of COVID-19.
