Dr. Amber Selking is the Mental Performance Consultant for Head Coach Brian Kelly and the Notre Dame Football team, and does speaking and training for sports teams and business organizations around the globe. She is also an adjunct Professor in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame, where she teaches Strategic Human Resource Management. She received her PhD in Applied Sport Psychology from the University of Missouri under Dr. Rick McGuire, her master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver, and her bachelor’s degree in Management Consulting from the University of Notre Dame. At ND, Amber played soccer for the Fighting Irish before injury ended her career, after which she founded Notre Dame Christian Athletes (NDCA) in the ND Athletic Department. She currently resides in South Bend, Indiana, with her husband, Aaron, and their Doberman Pinscher, Rockne.

From the accountant down the hall to the new player on the team, it is only by spending time with others to learn their background and see their competence in action can true respect and valuation as a person and a performer be achieved.
