Inspired by her mother’s work as an activist for women’s rights in Brazil, Morena Baccarin is a strong advocate for the protection and empowerment of women and girls. As an International Rescue Committee (IRC) Voice, she has visited the emergency response supporting Venezuelan refugees in Colombia and our refugee resettlement programs in Baltimore and New York. The IRC responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future.
