This is a Dharma Talk given by the Reverend Jay Rinsen Weik at the Buddhist Temple of Toledo in 2016. \\xa0In this talk, Rinsen explores the importance of working with a teacher, especially as one tries to practice in the face of difficult times. \\xa0

In seeking the path of compassion we a pointed back to our cushion and the practice of zazen. \\xa0Zazen is the place where we can loosen our attachments to wrong views about suffering. \\xa0How do we do this? \\xa0By embracing the spiritual "not knowing" of the moment and bearing witness to what comes up in our mind-stream.
