Prey (2022)

Published: Aug. 26, 2022, 9 a.m.

Today’s show is a review and discussion of Dan Trachtenberg’s offering to the Predator franchise in Prey.

Despite the falling box office success of the Predator films, before she resigned as 20th Century Studios Production President, Emma Watts fast-tracked the development of Dan Trachtenberg's and Patrick Aison’s Predator Prequel during the production of The Predator (2018).  Trachtenberg and Aison had been cultivating their prequel idea since 2016 and finally had their chance to bring their idea to the big screen.  Going by the title “Skulls”, the project began development in 2019, with cast and crew trying desperately to keep things under wraps and allow speculation to hype fan interest.  Flash forward to 2022, with the film’s title PREY revealed, the movie never hit the theaters, instead going straight to stream as a Hulu exclusive

In this show, we do more than a movie review by delving into the lives of the cast and crew, fan theories, trivia, scene breakdowns, and anything related to the film itself.  Needless to say, our shows are a little longer than your average movie review show, but we can assure you that our shows are jam-packed with entertaining and interesting discussions.  If that sounds like your sort of bag, hang out with Kenny and Del as they get into Prey.
