B.J. Evans, Senior Producer of Performing Arts at BRIC, hosts a bi-monthly show where she gives listeners a behind-the-scenes look at what’s coming up at BRIC and talks to BRIC-affiliated artists about their work.

This episode features BRIClab artists Sophia Mak & Bex Kwan, and their director/dramaturg Mei Ann Teo, who talk about their upcoming project, Double Yolk Moon. Through shadow, sound, and movement, they unearth family mythologies and histories of foreignness as queer Chinese people in the United States. Work-in-progress showings of Double Yolk Moon are Thursday, March 14th at 7pm and Friday, March 15th at 7pm. Tickets are $8 in advance and available here: https://www.bricartsmedia.org/events-performances/double-yolk-moon-work-progress
