Episode 016 Ania Volovique: The Constant Practice Of Loving Your Body

Published: June 2, 2020, 7 a.m.

In this episode we sit down with....

Ania Volovique. Brand Photographer.

Ania Volovique is a self proclaimed queen of personal reinvention. A move across the world at the age of 10 led her on a lifelong search for a sense of belonging. In 2012, she started her own photography business with the intention to make others feel seen, heard and connected.

Her choices were driven by that innate desire to feel at home and be accepted. Through many years of personal development, reinvention and looking within, she found what she was seeking….only it came in the form of brain cancer. Through the brain cancer experience, Ania was able to see the lessons and blessings and truly trust they were leading to her greatest growth and expansion.

Through the power of collective prayer and mindset, (and an amazing surgeon) Ania was able to heal her body, without a need for chemo or radiation. As a result, she's challenged and surprised doctors and continues to inspire others as her story continues.

What we talk about:

● The cultural difference she experienced in moving from Russia to New York

● Not feeling enough in her body and molding herself into different versions of herself for validation and a sense of community

● Working in the modeling industry

● Encouraging women to love their bodies and change their self talk through her photography and the powerful tools and exercises she uses

● Becoming your higher self and claiming the crown that has always been yours

● The importance of having powerful female leaders in your life and how to find them
