#freerayshawn #blacklivesmatter #antoinefuqua #juneteenth #quibi FreeRayshawn was released April 13, 2020. The story is about a Black retired military veteran (Stephen James) who is in a all day stand-off with New Orleans SWAT as he tries to negotiate his way out with the help of a sympathetic officer (Laurence Fishburne). The timing in which I chose to do this review was not planned or intentional. I had been pushing the review back several times because of the subject matter, but then I thought “Why not now? The review is NOT going away”. So I turned it on and got to the review. If you would like to have a discussion about the review and how it relates to these current times, feel free to write your thoughts in the comments down below and I’ll be sure to reply. Lets have some open dialogue. *Attack the Block is getting a bit of a comeback and I’m thinking of putting it in the review lineup. Do you think I should review it? Write me if you think I should.
