Published: Aug. 10, 2018, 7 p.m.

It's opening night for the 38th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival and we're on location at the Castro Theatre to interview Lisa D'Apolito, director of Love, Gilda.  It's an intimate look at the life of Gilda Radner, one of the funniest women in comedy, and an original cast member of Saturday Night Live.  Lisa discusses her access to Gilda's personal audiotapes and journal entries, and how she hopes Gilda's life will remind people that the most important thing in life is love. With interviews from comedy greats such as Chevy Chase, Martin Short, and Amy Poehler, you're given an inside peak in to a life that was cut tragically short, and her lasting impact on the world of comedy.
