Why a Better Attitude Today Can Ensure a Healthier Tomorrow

Carol Newman lives with the goal of following a healthy, organic lifestyle. But she also works very hard to educate others about how to gain the highest potential for energy and vitality in their own lives. She does this by teaching how to adopt new healthy and organic living habits, whether it is eating healthier or adopting a better attitude.

In this episode, Carol and host Kimberly Henrie discuss everything that you have to do in a day’s tie. They begin by discussing everything your body has to do in just the first hour that you are awake, and how by making one change to your daily routine you can improve your lifestyle overall.

In a former BioGirl Health Show, Carol explained how to take baby steps instead of giant leaps to make changes in your life. Her primary example is her beloved Aunt Marie, who at nearly 100 years of age is still capable of driving her own car! Carol shares that Aunt Marie’s healthy lifestyle is thanks to the approach to moderation, and then offers examples of how we can use those same steps to improve our own lives.

Attitude Is Everything – But You Can’t Rely On a Pill for a Better One

When discussing how to make an attitude adjustment, Carol suggests beginning with the end in mind. That is because people who focus on the end result of their goals are better able to achieve them despite any obstacle that life might place in their path. Here is just one way that Carol offers for overcoming obstacles:

-Have a friend keep you on track by holding each other accountable
-Choose a friend with a mutual goal, but it does not have to be exact
-Helping a friend will motivate you to stay on track in achieving your goal
-Approach conflicts with a win-win attitude to help both parties

How to Meet Your Goals Despite Having a Down Day

Carol also explains what to do when you wake up and just don’t feel like taking the necessary steps towards meeting your goal, as well as the possible negative results of procrastinating. Although you cannot control the stimulus in achieving your goals, you can always control the steps you take towards that end result.

Everyone has goals – even you and me! Having a positive attitude means the difference between meeting our goals sooner or later, if we are ever able to meet them at all. However using Carol’s tips can help us stay on track through the toughest times. Tune in now to hear all the knowledge Carol has to share on this important topic!
