Today’s chat takes us to Deutschland, Germany! Were we meet Lindi Liza. Interesting when walking around Germany I became so accustomed to German accents wether they were heavily Germany accented with the “ich komma aus Deutschland” or they had a slight American twang to it so I could I easily navigate who the locals were. When I bumped into Lindi her accent sounded very similar to mine - a South African accent. I Have been told the South African accent is not the easiest to replicate so I was simply elated to bump into someone that perhaps has a similar heritage to mine. Our backgrounds may be similar but our experiences growing up are vastly different.

Wondering how a South African family landed up in a small German town and overcame the stereotypes that come with being a different race and a foreigner in a new country? Well take a seat, buckle up and listen.
