“I opened Creative Healing so that teens would have a safe space that was made just for them... A place for them to come home to, to take off the mask, to know that they are not alone. Ultimately, my passion and purpose is for your teen to know they they aren't weird, bad, wrong or different for feeling the way that they do and there's a place where they are fully accepted for exactly who they are. And, that you can totally love and accept yourself while also gaining the support and skills to make lasting positive changes in your life.
I am intensively trained and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and do my best work with teens who are experiencing depression, suicidal thoughts and self-harming behaviors who move through life with a belief that they are just not good enough. My passion is in empowering teens to make effective choices and to believe that they are so so worthy of love. We work together to develop a personalized coping plan to help them manage overwhelming emotions and create a life filled with connection and meaning.
When I'm not working, I'm hanging at home with my family and my Boston Terrier Penny doing yoga, watching Marvel movies and Sci-Fi shows on Netflix and journaling... like, a lot of journaling.”
