“I became a counselor because I felt like no one understood what I was going through and like no one could ever help me feel better. I felt broken and lost in my world and alone in my thoughts. As a counselor, I want to make sure you feel like you have someone walking along with you in your journey and help you feel better in order to take back your life again.

I help you move through the process of therapy using such tools as mindfulness (being in the present moment and sitting with your thoughts and emotions) and self-compassion (talking and treating yourself like you would with a good friend). Together we will identify thought patterns and learn to change those thoughts into positive thoughts and make sense of them. I often use a creative approach to therapy and try to make it fun. It is my job for you find your inner peace and learn to embrace your life.

I understand where you have been because I've been there myself. I know how hard it is to overcome your fears, loneliness, and feelings of  despair. I've dedicated my life to helping people like yourself going through similar situations. Hang in there and know that you're in good hands!” - Julia Ayraud
