Wholesome convictions drive us towards what is right and good if guided by the scriptures. They protect us from negative spiritual influences, propel us to pursue a walk with God, and compel us to be vocal and display what is noble in our character. Conversely, convictions may also pull us away from the very goals we aspire to achieve because they lull us into a false sense of invincibility. They blind us to vital information that, if considered, would be for our good as long as we embrace it. But, if we ignore that information, it will be to our detriment.
