Well hello again…it’s our good friend: the unnecessary remake. That’s right, it’s time for the film that came out on 06/06/06 (you see what they did there?): “The Omen”. While discussing the atmosphere, mood, and wonderful lead performances in the original, Richard Donner version would have been lovely, we decided to talk about the lackluster lead performances, uneven direction, and straight up “rip off” style of the 2006 remake. The St. Johns build Julia Stiles’ Mt. Rushmore, discuss when they first saw Live Schreiber, and dissect how to say this name: Pete Postlethwaite. The film may have been unnecessary, but I assure you: this podcast is NOT!
