Season 1 Episode 5. Hi all. Today I want to talk about practical hunger. When working with clients, I often talk about the importance of consistent meals, but then I get asked "what if I'm not hungry?" While ultimately the goal with intuitive eating is to get to a place where we can listen and trust our hunger, that doesn't mean we will only ever eat when we're hungry. Applying practical hunger is an important component not only in listening to your body, but especially in healing from binge eating. Let's chat about it!
