Gathering 125: Search for Certainty

Published: April 6, 2020, 7 p.m.

No doubt you are probably navigating the COVID-19 pandemic with a heightened level of uncertainty. With the multitude of mixed messages we receive daily from our leaders and the media at large, a feeling of certainty is at a premium today. Who do you trust? Where do you put your faith? Is it perfunctory to just give it over to God? Join Pastor Tony Minear, Ph.D. this week as he explores the many ways in which people find certainty. Listen and discover the two sources Jesus turned to find certainty in times of trouble and doubt. Do these sources still work for us today through a 21st century lens? Or is it valuable to perhaps reimagine the God of Jesus’ time? Be encouraged to wrestle and ponder these topics in spiritual community with us at Beatitudes Church where all individuals can have authentic and honest discussions in a space of safety and solidarity. Regain your sense of certainty to carry you through to the other side of COVID-19. Recorded live at Beatitudes Church in Phoenix, AZ on 04/05/20 Preaching: Rev.
