Michael D. McCarty is a Professional Storyteller and Latter Day GRIOT. He teaches and tells stories around the country and all over the world. He specializes in stories of African and Afro-American history, in telling multi-cultural stories and in personal stories from his own life. Since 2014, he\\u2019s been working in California prisons as part of the Arts In Corrections project. He offers a variety of workshops utilizing the art of storytelling.
