Why Keep Going to the Circus

b'How often do we ask ourselves \\u201cwhy\\u201d when the behavior we experience from others is the same as it has always been? As creatures of habit, we tend to gravitate toward familiarity, even when it is unhealthy and even painful for us. When we fully embrace that we do not control others and that their behaviors predominately stem from their life experiences, we begin to free ourselves from the revolving, perpetual circus the toxic behaviors of others can have on us. By accepting people are who they show themselves to be and shifting our focus from what they are doing to what we can do for ourselves, our mental health, and our well-being, we realize we have no obligation to continue to go to the circus and become flustered by their flying monkeys.\\xa0
