Let Go of Toxic Connections

b'Not all relationships are healthy for us. While this may seem obvious, it is important to also note that we are under no obligation to continue to maintain, support, or participate in relationships that have negative impacts on our mental health, peace, or well-being. This includes casual acquaintances up through family members. The hard truth is that the humans who are closest to us can cause us the most harm. While all relationships naturally have their ups and downs, relationships that leave us feeling drained, depleted, and even defeated after most interactions are unhealthy for us and most likely toxic.
