The Jerk is the single olympic lifting movement that does not require a pulling movement. Driving your body under the barbell is a different beast than pulling yourself under the barbell like the clean and snatch. In the One Ton Challenge, if you are going to make it into the One Ton Club, you will need a big jerk.
