In this retro episode we are jumping in the DeLorean and revisiting the films from 1987. The year 1987 was and is for all intents and purposes a very pivotal year in film history. The cure for Insomnia became the longest film in history at the time lasting 87 hours or 3 days and 15 hours. The first ever officially sponsored Star Wars convention was held to commemorate the franchise's 10 year anniversary, Michael Douglas and Cher won academy awards for best actors. We saw the film debuts of Jason Bateman, Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Courtney Cox, Chris Rock, David Spade, Ben Stiller and Brad Pitt and the number one movie was about three men in a baby. Somewhere within the hundreds of films released in theaters that year is our Top 5 Movies of 1987.
