If you were thinking of the show where a mysterious ghost in a neighborhood bookstore brings together four kids who must work together to free fictional characters from works of literature, you are thinking of the wrong Ghost Writer. In this Ghost Writer, from 1989, a dead 1950\'s era starlet is stuck in limbo and must enlist the help of a Hollywood beat writer to help her pass onto the other side with plenty of crazy antics along the way. This Ghost Writer couldn\'t be more opposite than that beloved 90\'s PBS series, unless that show also starred Joey Travolta (yes, brother of John) as a guy so obsessed with the dead starlet that he carries around her death notice in his wallet, which we\'re 95% certain it did not.
