Within the last 18 months, multiple companies have committed to become 100% carbon neutral by 2030, and entire industries are being galvanized. But we’re just at the beginning to scratch the surface of the most massive revolution in over 100 years.

By 2035, no combustion vehicles will be sold in California or New York. Virtually every auto manufacturer - and many new ones - now have electric cars for sale. As one example, Ford invested over $10 Billion in electric vehicles, with the Mustang-E and F-150 Electric now on the market.

Do you know that there are 150,000 Level 2 charging ports across the US? These 220 volt chargers take 4-6 hours for an EV to be fully-charged. As the industry evolves, we are seeing more DC fast chargers (Level 3) like Tesla’s superchargers – which can charge a fully electric car to its full battery within the short period of 20-45 minutes.

Starting in 2022 in California, NY City, and elsewhere, at least 10% of all new construction buildings’ parking stalls must be EV-charging-capable.

GreenWealth is making it possible by stacking rebates, grants and tax credits with customized charging and fleet programs for any type of business, non-profit, or government.

Whoever you are, if you care about this mission, come and we will find a place for you!

Check out this week’s AWESome EarthKind Energy podcast where we interview Ariel Fan.

GreenWealth Energy Solutions is partnered with ChargePoint – the largest EV charging manufacturer in the United States – in developing EV charging stations, specifically helping commercial and multi-family businesses and buildings transition to the clean energy future by deploying EV charging stations and getting incentives either in the form of utility rebates, state grants, or federal tax credits. Worst Career Moment: “When I first started my company, I was 24 and I kept thinking in the back of my head all these negative worries. I also had family pressures then. Being Taiwanese-American, I had what daughters of immigrant families have - parents that prioritize stability and professional careers. I was afraid to go after the bigger contracts. For years, this hugely stepped on our growth. One year, I went to LightFair International, and for 10 minutes, nobody would talk to me. I was invisible.” – Ariel Fan

Magic Wand: “Awareness of themselves; self-awareness. Everyone can no longer be ignorant of their effects on others, on the earth, and anything they do. They don’t have to change what they’re doing, but they just have to know their effect.” – Ariel Fan

WTF or F: “I was there during hurricane Sandy. I was living at that time on 28th street and this was the line separating lower Manhattan to upper Manhattan. Everything 27th street and below was completely pitch dark. Sandy came in and for three or four days straight, we were in a lockdown. A lot of my friends going to college at that time had nowhere to live. There were people in Times Square charging their phones desperately to get a little bit of charge because all of the bottom of Manhattan had no electricity. It was such a surreal dystopian moment. The only light that you would see would be ambulances or police cars shining their light. It was pitch dark.” – Ariel Fan

Most Energized About Today: “Building a hundred million dollar EV infrastructure company in the next five years. To take a company that was completely bootstrapped from my savings account and my credit card, and build it into a real organization that can help customers, and help not only the biggest customers but the tiny ones that nobody else wants to help, and build a culture of people who are committed to the mission – to being part of the biggest electrification event of our lifetimes and our kids’ lifetimes.” – Ariel Fan
