In 2012, Grace moved to Los Angeles for a job right out of college as a graphic designer and after two and a half months, was fired. That brought her to the beginning of her healing journey, booking a session with an energy healer because it was cheaper than therapy. Living near a metaphysical bookstore, she sought tarot readings all the time as they were a source of therapeutic relief, but after a while, she realized she was seeking external answers which caused her to turn inward to access her own innate wisdom. This drew her to create her own tarot deck infused with her style of vibrant colors and modern, geometric shapes, dismantling the stereotype that tarot was scary and scammy, but instead can be used as an intuition tool, to build a better relationship with oneself and to go within.\\xa0
Grace launched a Kickstarter in 2017 for the Mystic Mondays tarot deck and app, which was successfully funded for $25,990. After experiencing a setback with shipping and damaged decks, Grace cold emailed the generic email at Chronicle Books and within two weeks received an offer for publication in early 2018. The Mystic Mondays tarot deck was released to the world later that year in October 2018 and has now to date sold over 215k copies. Since then, Grace has created three additional decks - the Crystal Grid Deck, Cosmic Creatures deck, and the Astro Alignment Deck which are all published with Running Press / Hachette. Grace continues to expand the Mystic Mondays brand with the Mystic Mondays App (over 300k downloads) and other additional products. Grace has also worked with brands like Chanel, Macy\\u2019s, Starry, Campus, and more as a Tarot expert and spiritual wellness influencer.
