Jesus heals an invalid near the pool of Bethesda.  The cured invalid reports the healing to the pharisees and these Jewish leaders begin to attack and persecute Jesus for working on the Sabbath - which is against Jewish law.  Jesus rebukes them claiming he is the Son of God.
