Saul teaches in Damascus but, his life being threatened departs, under cover, for Jerusalem.  He meets with the Apostles, through intervention from Barnabas, and convinces them that he is the real deal.  Threatened with death his compatriots take him away from Jerusalem and eventually to Tarsus.
