A missionary journey into Gentile lands: Jesus sets out on a mission to Gentile lands. After healing the daughter of a Gentile woman, he journeys north and then east, always walking among Gentiles. On the Gentile side of the Lake of Galilee he heals a Gentile deaf-mute, and the Gentiles acclaim that he does all things well, and see him as the Messiah. Only on mission, among the Gentiles, is Jesus recognised and acknowledged.
