You all may have read her story on Humans Of New York, which those of you who don’t know what Humans of NY is, its a photoblog and book created by Brandon Stanton in 2010 where he interviews strangers in NYC to share their stories. He is an incredible writer and photographer and has written some of the most powerful, heartbreaking, inspiring, loving, courageous stories the world has ever heard including the one that you’ll hear today.
