The Raid Redemption

In 2010, director Gareth Evans, a British filmmaker released an Indonesian extreme action film called The Raid (aka The Raid Redemption in the U.S.). The film focuses on a SWAT team being sent into an apartment highrise controlled by a drug lord only to be ambushed with no backup. The film's action sequences became the new standard internationally and its stars/stunt coordinators were overnight sensations. But does the film deserve such acclaim or should it be hacked to pieces by a rusty machete? MovieDude Eric, Kent and Chris find out.
