In 1985, director Terry Gilliam, hot off the success of Time Bandits, released his most ambitious film yet, Brazil; a dystopian nightmare of bureaucracy and terrorism, a comedy of errors and misunderstanding and a lot of ducts. The film found some critical appeal which has snowballed to make the film a newly minted classic. But does the film deserve the accolades or does it deserve a trip down the rubbish bin?
