Arthouse Rejects: Stargate

In 1994, writer/director team Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich created their first epic called Stargate about a wormhole that transports a special forces team to a distant planet inhabited by a race of primitive humans and their alien overlords. While the film itself bombed in the box office, it developed a fan base which was cultivated in a long-running television show. But does the film itself deserve more from the critics or did they rightfully sent it to King Tut? MovieDude Eric, Kent and Chris find out.
