Geoff (Popkiller) became involved with electronic music in the mid-90s through his exposure to the Calgary rave scene and to artists such as Daft Punk and Bjork. Inspired by the sounds of house and techno music, and by local DJs Anwar, and Jon Delerious, he decided to take up deejaying as a hobby. Since then, he has gone on to play for many dancefloors, from small intimate events, to packed afterhours parties. Highlights of his career include headlining Vancouver's legendary Deepen night at the Lotus Sound Lounge, and playing a slot at this year's Soundwave festival on Vancouver Island. He's proud to have played alongside a number of touring deejays, including Fabric's Terry Francis, John Selway, Tiga, Freaks and Luke Solomon, Claude VonStroke, MSTRKRFT, Mr Barcode, Tyler Stadius, Brett Johnson, and Jay Tripwire. Now based in Vancouver, he is working on a new project called Popkiller, and is playing at various club and afterhours events.
