started playing guitar and writing hip hop beats (which were too "electronic sounding" for most mc's i knew... a bit of foreshadowing for ya) in high school, and was djing breakbeats and drum & bass at local raves as soon as i graduated. three years later, longtime friend and dj partner the mongoose (then known as dj global) and i decided the half-time dnb/glitch hop we had been tinkering with on my old PC was ready to be unleashed on the unsuspecting city of vancouver. teamed up with new friends jmej and application, we threw our first glitch hop show, and performed as "glitchy & scratchy".
