What day of the week is it? In the podcast world it doesn't matter. How we receive digital content isn't like any other generation. How does it affect the workplace? No day passes that three to four people call in with reasons why they won't be coming in. I keep hearing how people aren't mentally checked in. We had a guy last night that said he just wasn't in the mood. I'm no mental expert but I am a team member infected by the acceptance of other people's bad excuses. Accountability has got to be put back on the list of expectations. Leadership isn't accepting bad behavior. I grip that we've become more open with mental issues. I embrace the love and support required. But is it the new out because you're not in the mood?
