The Daily Mess Using ASC As A Tool

The walk and way of a modern view of what we can do to locate peace inside all these pieces. A fractured fairytale. Too many places to mentally escape, leaving the heart wide open to steer clear of its own messes. I meditate. The body goes into a moment of pure mindfulness. Upon returning I often wonder if I’m running away from something. Much like prayer. To free our minds from the moment. To gift the soul with peace. Only to step back into the present. Are we altering our lives? Research calls it ASC. Altered States Of Consciousness. Daily writing is no different. I honestly never know what I’m going to write about. Nor do I remember what I planted on the page. Using ASC as a tool. Learning to reach for it. To gain access to its strength and ability without poisoning it with your perfectionist personality. It takes practice. It’s going to require awareness. But you’ve got to document the path. Because when you get back there’s a huge chance you won’t remember the journey.
